Front flip
A front flip, or front tuck, is a flip where you jump, rotate your body 360 degrees forward, and land on your feet. Key to a successful front flip is generating vertical height with a powerful jump and arm movement, then tucking the body by bringing the knees to the chest to increase rotational speed. Practicing basic forward rolls and dive rolls is crucial for building the foundational movements and coordination needed for a front flip.
